Students working towards this year’s A-levels, AS-levels and BTEC awards have achieved amazing results despite their studies being disrupted by the pandemic. Hammersmith Academy, which has received funding from the WCIT Charity, saw its largest number of students achieving places to study medicine and continuing the Academy’s Oxbridge tradition.
Headteacher Gary Kynaston said: “Students have shown remarkable resilience and perseverance, being able to adapt to learning from home and making the progress expected of them. I am proud that the Academy has been able to support students through this with our Digital Equality Initiative, which we launched back in the autumn, providing every student with a Chromebook to use at home for online lessons and personal study.”
