The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists Charity has a long tradition of supporting scholars. As well as its long-term partnerships with Hammersmith Academy and Lilian Baylis Technology School, for many years it has encouraged the brightest undergraduate students of computer science through its University IT Awards.
Applications are now closed for the 2026 WCIT Charity PhD bursary: the deadline for 2027 submissions will open in January.
This bursary is only available for UK nationals through UK universities, and applications must be made by the institution rather than the individual.
