Good progress is being made on the Charity Digital Code of Practice 2025. The resource builds on the success of the first Code created in 2018 and will be fully updated to include guidance on AI, accessibility, data management and more. The project began with significant user research, with oversight from a diverse Review Board comprising technical experts across the sector, including the WCIT. The draft Code went out for consultation with both large and small charities (there are different versions for each) and the final version of the Charity Digital Code of Practice 2025 will be launched this summer.

The project has been made possible thanks to joint funding from the WCIT Charity, Clothworkers’ Foundation and Resource for London.
