Small grants

In 2023, the WCIT Charity gave away more than £100,000 to 14 organisations across the UK, supporting their work in some of the country’s most vulnerable communities. Through this grant-making, we strive to ensure more communities have equal access to IT and can benefit from its transformative capabilities.

You can see the full list of grant recipients below, and can also see who we’ve funded in previous years in our Annual Reviews.

The WCIT Charity is committed to transparency, so we work with 360Giving to publish information about our grants. Using the 360Giving Data Standard, all grants awarded since 2021 are available as an Excel spreadsheet here.  This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This means the data is freely accessible to anyone to be used and shared as they wish, as long as the data is attributed to the WCIT Charity.

We believe that with better information, funders can be more effective and strategic about making decisions, while voluntary and community sector organisations can access insights and information that may have previously been out of reach. 360Giving supports us and other funders to publish open data about their grants, and empowers people to use this data to improve charitable giving through a range of free online tools.
