This years’ AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards once again attracted some remarkable talent and showcased the creative use of tech to make the world a better place. Among the winners were Healx, who won the AI for Good award for their AI-powered research into rare diseases, and Girls into Coding, who received the Tech4Good People’s Award.
The WCIT Charity was proud to support the Winner of Winners Award, which went to African Storybook for their app which enables adults and children to create, publish and share their own storybooks in the language of their choice.
Commenting on the awards, Mark Walker of AbilityNet said: “I can’t wait to see how the winners develop their projects and creations over the next year, with the help of our Tech4Good team providing guidance along the way.”
