Clapton Common Boys Club have thanked the WCIT Charity for a grant towards their Just IT programme. Chair of the club, Ahron Klein, said: “At this prime stage in their lives, these young people will have the opportunity to engage in IT and digital literacy, giving them hope for a successful career and positive future.”
The children and families supported by Clapton Common Boys Club are marginalised and often living in poverty. The club tries to make things better for those young people in Hackney and Haringey by providing educational and stimulating social, health and sports programmes.
“Your grant means you understand how vitally important digital literacy is for the future of our young people,” Ahron concluded.
